On 17 February 2026, the New Zealand Sustainable Initiative Trust (NZSIT) attended Auckland University of Technology (AUT) Orientation Day, marking a strong start to its student orientation week initiatives across multiple universities.
During the event, NZSIT engaged with more than 40 students from diverse nationalities, including India, Saudi Arabia, China, and Korea. The team also distributed 40 Food Scrap informational flyers to participating students.
The activity represents an important step in promoting sustainability awareness among the student community.
